Every week, an estimated 2 to 3 babies lose their dads to suicide every week in the UK. Yet fathers remain largely invisible within perinatal mental health policy, services and research, all of which has serious consequences for dads, for babies and for families.
At the 1001 Critical Days Foundation, we believe an early years system that does not fully see fathers is incomplete. We want to ensure paternal mental health is recognised, understood, and embedded within policy, guidance, and services across the country.
We want to bring the sector together to make that happen.
Join us for a free online webinar on Wednesday 24 June at 12pm.
We'll share the evidence, set out our advocacy asks, and invite organisations across the early years, mental health, and family support sectors to explore how we can collaborate.
