Become Our International Trustee
We are seeking an International Trustee that can join our esteemed Board of Trustees and join us on this mission.

As our International Trustee, you will be accountable for challenging and supporting our Chief Executive Officer to develop and deliver our ambitious international strategy.
As part of our Board of Trustees, you will provide strategic leadership, oversight, and accountability to ensure the Foundation delivers impactful research, charity grants and advocacy.
Role specification:
· Advising on the Foundation’s international strategy, international work, including grant-making, research and advocacy.
· Approving strategic plans, annual travel budgets, and reviewing performance against targets.
· Supporting the CEO to identify and mitigate legal, financial, and reputational risks in the countries in which the Foundation is operating.
· Ensuring safeguarding and ethical risks have been considered in advance of, and during, the Foundation’s operations internationally with clear plans for mitigation.
· Understanding of issues affecting countries in which the Foundation is operating and staying abreast of respective domestic and regional current affairs.
· Supporting international fundraising efforts, identifying potential donors, and advocating for the Foundation's needs.
· Act as a representative of the Foundation on international matters, representing it to stakeholders and partners.
